Treatment Facility (TFC)

“TFC coordinates the work of individual A.A. members and groups who carry the A.A. message of recovery to alcoholics in treatment facilities, and sets up means of bridging the gap from treatment to A.A.” – The A.A. Service Manual p. S63

The purpose of the Niagara Treatment Facilities Committee (TFC) is to cooperate with Intergroup District Treatment Facilities and Institutions to coordinate the work of individual AA members and groups who are interested in carrying the message of recovery to alcoholics in treatment facilities, and to set means of “Bridging the Gap” from the facility to the larger AA community.

“Practical experience shows that nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with another alcoholic. It works when other activities fail.” – Alcoholics Anonymous p. 89
